“What is my
personal responsibility when it comes to being well-fed spiritually day to
day. Or, to put it another way, ‘What will
I eat today?’
What will Jehovah’s
Witnesses eat as their spiritual food each day that they remain within the
crumbling walls of the Watchtower Organization? (Ezekiel 13:7,10-11,14; Isaiah 30:10-13;Proverbs 18:11)
The apostle
John tells us in 1 John 4:1 not to believe every spirit, “but test
the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone
out into the world”.
There are only
two kinds of spiritual food that the Bible speaks of:
TRUTH - originating only from the Spirit of God, through the Logos, Jesus Christ. (Psalm 86:11; John 1:1,14,17; 14:6; 4:24;7:38; John 15:26; 1 Corinthians 2:14;Hebrews 4:12; John 17:17)
LIES - originating from the father of the lie,
Satan the devil, and consists of human doctrine. (Ezekiel 13:9,22; John 8:44;1Peter 3:10-12; Ephesians 2:1-3; Ephesians 5:6; 1 John 1:6;4:6; 2 Corinthians11:130-15; 1 Timothy 4:1)
Jesus expects
his anointed priests to speak according to his words already written down, and not
according to the made-up stories, the delusions, additions and policies of an earthly
organization; all of which are deceptive teachings originating from an evil
heart. (Isaiah 66:4; Jeremiah 14:14;Isaiah 59:14-15,12-13; 2 Peter 2:1-3; Colossians 2:8; John 12:48; 2 Corinthians5:10)
“The good
person out of the good treasury of his heart brings forth good, and the evil
person out of his evil treasury brings forth
evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. No good tree
bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 Each
tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from
thornbushes, or grapes from briers.” Luke 6:45,43,44
We recognize a
false prophet, a false teacher, from a true prophet or teacher sent by Christ,
by the quality of spiritual food. (Proverbs 11:30; 18:21; John 15:7-8) Good food
remains; not just for one meal, or one published magazine or book that is soon to be
replaced by another. Bad food, or
“fruit”, rots away as Watchtower’s doctrines are continually replaced by more “bad
fruit”. (Proverbs 1:20-31; Matthew7:15-20; John 15:4-6)
There is no
in-between, no blending of the two; God’s word is pure. (Psalm 12:6; Proverbs30:5; Psalm 19:8; 119:140; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; James 3:17; Revelation 3:18)
Only a devious, lying leader would convince someone that his predictions or doctrines proven to fail and need adjusting time and again, are blessed by God as “proper food at the proper time”. (Acts 20:28-31) Would God ever support men who make claims that their words are trustworthy, when their long record of failures has consistently left the flock empty, hungry and thirsty for the words of Jesus Christ? (Isaiah 32:6;55:10-11; 2 Tim 2:15; John 6:35; Matthew 5:6)
These unfaithful servants of Christ offer food to the sheep that rots as
soon as it is served. (Isaiah 28:7-8; Ezekiel 13:22-23; Luke 6:43-44)
According to
God, there is no “proper time” to believe in a lie, as Jehovah’s Witnesses have
done since the organization began. (Proverbs 1:5;1 John 2:4)
Watchtower
quote:
“Jesus foretold that he would appoint a
‘faithful and discreet slave’ to ENSURE that his followers would be
well-fed spiritually during the last days.
This faithful slave, composed of a small group of Jesus’ spirit-anointed
brothers on earth, has been providing spiritual “food at the proper time” ever
since 1919. C.E. (Come be my follower,
chapter 16, pg. 16)
The
organization has produced a massive amount of literature since around 1879.
What is left today that JWs use in their preaching work? A small sample
compared to the volumes that have been discarded over the years. Why the need to continue putting out new
books and eliminating the old ones?
Don’t we refer to the same Bible that was used in 1879? God’s word never
fails or changes. (Psalm 145:13; 33:11; Matthew 24:35; Titus 1:2)
The “proper food” that Jesus would provide the faithful steward over his household would not add or take away from his words. (Deuteronomy 12:32; Revelation 22:18-19;2 Timothy 2:15)
But it does take the blessing of divine wisdom from God to
understand his parables, his admonitions. (Matthew 13:10-16; 1 Corinthians 1:30,19-25;2:6-10,12-16)
Ecclesiastes
12:9-14 - “Besides being wise, the
Preacher also taught the people knowledge,
weighing and studying and arranging many proverbs with great care. 10 The
Preacher sought to find words of delight, and uprightly he wrote words of truth.
11 The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are
the collected sayings; they are given
by one Shepherd.”
Jesus Christ is
that Shepherd, whom his servants are to produce food that remains, that lasts; that is “firmly
fixed”. (John 15:16)
12 “My son, beware
of anything beyond these. Of making many books
there is no end, and much study is a weariness
of the flesh.”
Such volumes of twisted
teachings cause confusion; a labor of worthlessness. (Psalm 4:2; 1 Samuel12:21;Galatians 4:9; Isaiah 19:14; 28:7-10)

“The end of
the matter; all has been heard.”
God has heard all
the blasphemous remarks, blasphemous teachings by the false prophets, who say
that God blesses what they teach. (Numbers 23:19; 1 Samuel 15:29)
Jeremiah
14:14 - But
the Lord said to me, “These prophets are prophesying a lie in my
name. I did not send them,
nor did I command them or speak to them. They are
prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their
own minds.”
13 “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole
duty of man.”
Not the commandments, the rules and policies of
an organization. And not the crooked version of God’s holy word.
14 “For God
will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good
or evil.”
The whole duty
of man is explained by Jesus Christ:
John 12:48 –
“The one who rejects me and doesn’t receive my
sayings has this as his judge: The word I have spoken
will judge him on the last day.”
Upon an
anointing, one receives the outpouring of Holy Spirit into
their heart. (Romans5:5; Ephesians 1:13;14;1 John 2:27; Titus 3:4-7)
“But you have an anointing from the Holy
One, and you know all things. 21 I have written to you,
not because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no
lie is of the truth.” 1 John 2:20-2
NO LIE IS OF THE TRUTH
“Follow the pattern of sound teaching which
you have heard from me in the faith and love that is in Christ Jesus. 14 Guard
the treasure that was committed to you through the Holy Spirit who lives in
us.” 2 Timothy 1:13
“Let that
which you have heard from the beginning remain in you.
If that which you have heard from the beginning remains
in you, you also
will remain in the Son and in the Father. 1 John 2:24
“Test yourselves
to see if you are in the faith. Examine yourselves. Or do you yourselves not
recognize that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless you fail the test.” 2 Corinthians
13:5
On the topic of
supposed “ridiculous accusations” made about Jehovah’s Witnesses, Governing
Body member G. Jackson quoted 1 Peter 2:22-23 about Jesus. He read: “He committed no sin nor was deception found in his
mouth. Verse 23a – “ When he was being insulted, he did not insult in return.”
Jackson states:
“So, in other words there was nothing that
you could accuse Jesus of doing wrong. Jackson said, “So, Jesus was insulted.
Can you think of some of the insults or the ridiculous accusations
made against Jesus?”
Yes, we can,
Mr. Jackson, said by your fellow Governing Body members:
“The
Governing Body is neither inspired nor infallible. Therefore, it
can err in doctrinal matters
or in organizational direction. Of course, Jesus did not
tell us that his faithful slave would produce perfect spiritual food.” Wt. 17/2 pp 26-27
Jackson
continues, “Yes,
just as Jesus was found guilty of doing something that he didn’t do, (or
he didn’t say), so likewise we should never ever be
surprised by the ridiculous accusations hurled at us.”
The Bible’s
council against this member of the composite wicked slave of Matthew24:48-51 is not a “ridiculous accusation”.
It is the truth. (Proverbs10:9; 109:2; Psalm 94:8-11; Psalm 50:16-22)
“Not one of
all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was
fulfilled.” Joshua 21:45
“The one who
belongs to God listens and responds to God's words. You
don't listen and respond, because you
don't belong to God." John 8:47
In Jesus’
prayer to the Father, he said that he had given his faithful disciples God’s
word. (John 17:14) And God’s word is
perfect. (James 1:16-17)
In John 8:31-32, Jesus told the Jews who believed him:
“If you continue in my word, you really are my disciples. 32 You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
An anointed one will know what to teach, as long as they
remain as a branch attached to the vine – Jesus Christ. (John 15:1-8; 2 Timothy 3:13-15)
But to the liars, the Pharisees, Jesus said:
“I speak
what I have seen in the presence of the Father; so then, you do what you have heard from your father. You
belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s
desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not
holding to the truth, for there is no
truth in him. When he lies, he speaks from his own nature, for he is
a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the
truth, you do not believe me!” John
8:38,44-45
‘Because I
am the Lord, I’ll speak and the message that I communicate will be
accomplished without delay. While you continue to be a rebellious house, I’ll
speak the message and then fulfill it,’ declares the Lord God. ‘There
will no longer be worthless visions and flattering divinations in the midst of
Israel’s house.” Ezekiel 12:25,24
The way of
the guilty is devious, but the conduct of the innocent is upright. Proverbs
21:8
Jesus would not
lead these men into believing a false doctrine if they were faithful and
obedient to his words. (1 Peter 2:22; John 8:46; Matthew 7:24,7;1 Corinthians1:20; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)
He said, “no
lie is of the truth”! Since the
Governing Body admit they teach errors time after time, proven by the list they
themselves have created, it is quite clear that they are not holding to the truth of Jesus Christ,
who speaks only what the Father has given him. (John 8:28)
“To the
pure, everything is pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing
is pure; in fact, both their mind and conscience are defiled. 16 They
claim to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, and
unfit for any good work. But
you are to proclaim things consistent with sound
(healthy) teaching.” Titus
1:15-16;2:1
"he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in
order to present you holy and blameless and above
reproach before him, 23 if indeed you continue
in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting
from the hope
of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all
creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister."
Also, since the anointed among the Governing Body tell their congregants that they are not inspired by Holy Spirit, and that they can “err”, because of the ongoing devious directions in doctrine they take, the result is food produced by inspiration of another spirit that dwells within their heart. They have fallen from God’s grace, becoming transgressors of the covenant under God. They are spiritual “harlots”. (1 Corinthians 10:12; 2 Peter 3:17-18; Hebrews 12:15;Revelation 2:5; 8:10-11) (Hosea 5:4,11; 6:10; Isaiah 1:21;28:14-15; Luke 4:5-8;Matthew 24:24-25; John 8:41,44; 2 Corinthians 11:2-4; Revelation 13:11-12;17:3-5; 2:20-24)
They have rejected what Jesus Christ, their Head, gave them at their anointing. (Matthew25:14-30) By their wicked choices, they have lost the inspiration of Holy Spirit that Jesus once poured into their hearts. Their “wisdom” is of the world; it is fleshly, demonic. (2 Corinthians1:12; Colossians 2:18-19; James 3:13-16)
“For an overseer, as
God's steward, (God's "faithful and discreet slave") must be above reproach.
He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or
greedy for gain, 8 but hospitable, a lover of good,
self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. 9 He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as
taught, ("firmly fixed") so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine
and also to rebuke those who contradict it.” Titus 1:7-9
Once they teach their own doctrine, their
own fleshly desires, it is evident that these false prophets have rejected Jesus as
their head, and God as their Father. This
motivation to teach whatever delusions that Watchtower leaders have been
inspired to put in print, began with the false prophet, Charles Russell.
“The
Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things
taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as
with a hot iron.” 1 Timothy 4:1-2
“They went
out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had
belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that
none of them belonged to us.” 1 John
2:19
22 Who is the liar, if not the one who
denies that Jesus is the Christ? This one is the antichrist: the one who
denies the Father and the Son. 23 No
one who denies the Son has the Father; he who confesses the Son has
the Father as well.” 1 John 2:22-23
Does the Governing
Body deny Jesus Christ? It doesn’t appear that way on the surface, yet by
introducing their own doctrines and failed teachings that all JWs must obey, clearly,
we can determine they are following and teaching by another spirit that feeds
into their greedy inclinations. (Micah3:11; Matthew 24:11-12; Mark 7:20-23; 1Timothy 4:1; Revelation 13:11-12; 18:7-8)
“Now there
were false prophets among the people, just as there also will be
false teachers among you, who
will secretly introduce destructive heresies and even deny the
Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction on
themselves.” 2 Peter 2:1
“Heresies” – “the act of taking; captive”.
“See to it
that no one takes you captive by
philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not
according to Christ.” Colossians 2:8
“These
people, like irrational animals, (or “brute beasts”) are mere creatures
of instinct that are born to be caught and killed. They
INSULT what they don’t understand, and like animals they, too, will be
destroyed.” 2 Peter 2:12
There is the
key to understanding why the Governing Body continually needs to drop, change,
renew, and change again, their human doctrine; the spiritual treasure of lies
that fills their hearts. They have cut themselves off from Jesus Christ, the
Word, the Logos, the Truth. (Colossians 2:19) They have denied the Master who
bought them; and, they have set an idol before them and all JWs: the
organization itself. (Ezek 14:7-8;Matthew 24:4-5,24-25; Colossians 2:8; 1 Timothy 4:1; Romans 1:25; Revelation13:1-2,4-7,11-12,14-18; Revelation 16:13-16; 19:20)
Certainly, Jesus
would not provide any of these servants with the proper food at the proper
time, who demand obedience to human doctrine, who twist his words of truth to
benefit their greed and dominion over his other anointed servants held captive
in the Watchtower. (John 5:42-43) If these men were faithful, if they had
remained connected to the vine, the source of Holy Spirit, Jesus would share
what the Father gives to those who love Him; those who are obedient to do His
will, and not their own will. (John15:16,9; 1 Corinthians 6:15-20; Ephesians 4:1; Philippians 4:19; Galatians 5:24)
Malachi 2:7 does not mention that people should seek an anointed priest that offers their own doctrine based on the existence of an organization – their idol. But what does it say?
“For the
priest's lips should keep knowledge, and people should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger
of the Lord of hosts.”
“You are to distinguish between the holy and the common, and
between the unclean and the clean, 11 and you are to
teach the people of Israel all the statutes that the Lord has spoken
to them by Moses.” Leviticus 10:10-11
“you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a
spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual
sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:5
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a
holy nation, a people for his own possession, that
you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out
of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Pet 2:9
“Through him then let us
continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that
is, the fruit of lips that
acknowledge his name.” Hebrew 13:15
This knowledge of
truth that must be guarded, is the word of God in Jesus Christ, and not that of
men. (Matthew 15:8-9; 23:13-15;Mark 7:8;2 Timothy 4:3; Galatians 1:6-9)
Yes, people do
seek the instruction from the Governing Body.
Malachi chapter 2 continues:
8 But
you have turned from
the way (the way
of Truth, John 14:6)
and by your teaching have caused many to stumble;
you have
violated the covenant with Levi,” says
the Lord Almighty. 9 “So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the
people, because you have not followed my ways but have shown partiality in
matters of the law.”
Here is another
key to consider when looking at the Governing Body as either an evil, or a faithful
slave who would be sought out for spiritual understanding:
The Lord
said, “Who then is the faithful and sensible manager his master will
put in charge of his household servants to give them their allotted
food at the proper time? )
43 Blessed is that servant whom the master finds doing
his job when he comes. 44 Truly
I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 45 But
if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is
delaying his coming…’ Luke 12:42-46
The master is
Jesus Christ in this parable. Who would
say that Jesus is delaying his coming? Firstly,
it is the exact entity that has exclusively placed themselves in the position
of a “faithful and discreet slave” of Matthew 24:45. Secondly, the long history of Armageddon
predictions of the coming Kingdom, and changes in the understanding of doctrines,
have all failed or replaced. The entirety of Watchtower’s lies has the date 1914 in the center, like the hub of a
wheel. All spokes radiating out from it are the organization’s doctrines that
need continual fixing and replacing, to keep the organizational wheel turning smoothly.
Paul explained this premature date of the Kingdom’s arrival:
2 Thess
2:1-3 - Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our
being gathered to him: We ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not
to be easily upset or troubled, either by a prophecy[a] (a spiritual utterance) or by a message
or by a letter supposedly from us, alleging that
the day of the Lord[b] (the day of Christ)
has come.
And now, after
decades of many failed predictions based on 1914, these wicked men are at their
wits end:
Woe to those
who drag iniquity
with cords of deceit
and pull sin along with cart ropes,
19 to those who say,
“Let him hurry up and do his work quickly
so that we can see it!
Let the plan of the Holy One of Israel take place
so that we can know it!” Isaiah 5:18-19
“I want you
to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the
command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles. 3 Above
all, you must understand that in the last
days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4 They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever
since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of
creation.” 2 Peter 3:2-4
“Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
Within the Watchtower, where the anointed of God are held “captive” to the heresies of an evil steward, the wicked slave of Luke 12:42; Matthew 24:48-51, we find the man of lawlessness that teaches the wicked slave’s lies. (Ecclesiastes 5:8; Luke22:24-27;Matthew 24:48-51; Revelation 13:1-2,11-12;17:3,6;13:7,15;17:7-8)
This is the spiritual Gentile, not anointed elder body, that holds power and authority over God’s anointed priesthood, His spiritual temple. (1Peter 2:5,9; 1 Corinthians 3:16-17; Ephesians 2:20-20; Mark 13:14; Revelation11:1-2)
Pearl Doxsey – Why Does the Master Delay?
Clearly, this Man of Lawlessness becomes ruler over the living stones of God's spiritual temple, previous to their being sealed (Rev.11:2; Dan.12:7,11; 8:13,10-11; Rev.13:7,18; 2Thess. 2:4; Matt.24:15; Dan.9:17-18). How did he rise through this position over the priesthood?
The
steward who empowers this "man" (Dan.8:24; 11:23; Rev.13:11,15), assumes an authority to
teach as equal to the apostles (2Thess.2:2)("as though from
us") (Rev.2:2; 2Cor.11:13-14,15).

And
what does he teach? ...That the Master's arrival has come. This declaration is
described by Paul, as premature. There are consequences for declaring a false,
premature fulfillment of prophecy.”
“But the
prophet who presumes to speak a message in my name that I have not commanded
him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods—that prophet must
die.’ 21 You may say to yourself, ‘How can we recognize a
message the Lord has not spoken?’ 22 When a
prophet speaks in the Lord’s name, and the message does not come true or
is not fulfilled, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. The
prophet has spoken it presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.” Deuteronomy
18:20-22
In his
broadcast, Governing Body member Fleegle stated,
“Proper
food at the proper time is what we need in the time of the end.”
Indeed. In the
presence of spiritual famine where God’s anointed and all JWs reside, it is
vital, and it isn’t found in the Watchtower idol. (Joel 1:16; Amos 8:11;Ezekiel 14:12-14; Revelation 6:8)
It isn’t provided by an evil steward who has shut the mouths of Christ’s anointed servants under their rule, for fear of losing all that they have invested into their life of wickedness. (John 16:13; Matthew 22:1-14; Matthew 7:21-23)
I believe these men fear
the truth that would come from an anointed, faithful priest of Jesus Christ who was “killed”/disfellowshipped
for their testimony of Jesus and truth. (John 16:2-3; Mark 8:35; Revelation 11:1-3,7;13:7,15;6:9-10)
It seems very clear that the Governing Body fears the
power of God’s word; its source in Jesus, and its power to reveal the
lies. (Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Corinthians2:4; 2 Corinthians 10:4-6; Colossians 2:9-10; Ephesians 1:17-23) (Job 34:22;John 1:5; 3:19-21)
“For of this
you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an
idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let
no one deceive you with empty words,
for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are
disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.
8 For you were once darkness, but now
you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for
the fruit of the light consists in all
goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out
what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 It
is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.” Ephesians 5-12

eyes of those who see will no longer be closed,
and the ears of those who hear will listen.
4 The fearful heart will know and understand,
and the stammering tongue will be fluent and

their hearts are bent on evil:
They practice ungodliness
and spread error concerning the Lord;
the hungry they leave empty
and from the thirsty they withhold water.
7 Scoundrels use wicked methods,
they make up evil schemes
to destroy the poor with lies,
even when the plea of the needy is
just.
8 But the noble make noble plans,
and by noble deeds they stand. Isaiah 32:3-8
