"They exchanged the truth about God, and worshiped and served created things..." Romans 1:25

This was the message that the apostles preached:

“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” John 17:3

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”  Matthew 28:18-20

Is this the message that Jehovah’s Witnesses preach?  Is it in harmony with Jesus’ words?

“I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!  Galatians 1:6-8

The Kingdom Ministry continues to say:

“One of the questions that he will be asked during the baptism ceremony is: “Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in association with God’s spirit-directed organization?”  km 4/97 pp. 3-4

“For 15 centuries before our Common Era, Jehovah God had a visible organization on earth. He used the prophet Moses as His mediator in organizing the nation of Israel after its deliverance from Egypt, the first world empire of Bible history. Under the Mosaic Law, Israel became the visible part of Jehovah’s universal organization. W 89/9/1 pg

“While it is true that Moses was a talented leader, success or failure depended, not on his leadership skills, but on his loyalty to God’s organization.”   W 11/6/1/p 13-14

Let Moses speak.

From the Song of Moses, Deuteronomy 32:

Is this how you repay the Lord,
you foolish and senseless people?
Isn’t He your Father and Creator?
Didn’t He make you and sustain you?

“The Rock—His work is perfect;
all His ways are just.
A faithful God, without bias,
He is righteous and true.

His people have acted corruptly toward him;
this is their defect—they are not His children
but a devious and crooked generation.

7 Remember the days of old;
consider the years of past generations.
Ask your father, and he will tell you,
your elders, and they will teach you.

8 When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance
and divided the human race,
He set the boundaries of the peoples
according to the number of the people of Israel.

9 But the Lord’s portion is His people,
Jacob, His own inheritance.

10 He found him in a desolate land,
in a barren, howling wilderness;
He surrounded him, cared for him,
and protected him as the pupil of his eye.

11 He watches over His nest like an eagle
and hovers over His young;
He spreads His wings, catches him,
and carries him on his feathers.

12 The Lord ALONE led him,
with NO HELP from a foreign god.

He made him ride on the heights of the land
and eat the produce of the field.
He nourished him with honey from the rock
and oil from flinty rock,
14 curds from the herd and milk from the flock,
with the fat of lambs,
rams from Bashan, and goats,
with the choicest grains of wheat;
you drank wine from the finest grapes.

15 Then Jeshurun became fat and rebelled—
you became fat, bloated, and gorged.
He ABANDONED the God who made him
and SCORNED the Rock of his salvation.

16 They provoked His jealousy with different gods;
they enraged Him with detestable practices.

17 They sacrificed to demons, not God,
to gods they had not known,
new gods that had just arrived,
which your ancestors did not fear.

18 You ignored the Rock who gave you birth;
you forgot the God who gave birth to you.

Deuteronomy 32:6,4-5,7-18

Then the Lord said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites this: 'You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: 23 Do not make any gods to be alongside Me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.'" Exodus 20:22-23

 From The Idolatry of Jehovah's Witnesses:

All that has taken place in the organization, was prophesied to affect the remaining anointed ones in the last days – Christ’s “kings of the earth”.

(Rev.12:17,15; Dan.11:10; Rev.16:13-14,15-16; 20:7-9; Luke 21:20; 13:10,7; Col.2:8

(Rev.1:5-6; 5:9,10)

Who are the "Kings of the Earth"?

SEE: - Daniel Chapter 11, verse 31-45

The other major comparison to Israel’s years in the wilderness, was the idolatry that broke out among them. (Ex.32:1) Their uprising, which led to fabricating a golden calf to “go before” the people, is seen through the fabrication that one must “keep in step with” – “moving ahead with Jehovah’s organization”. JWs have been stumbled by their leaders’ vision of their own minds, to “go before” them, thoroughly convinced that this idol will lead them into salvation."
